Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (RCF) had things much their own way as they thumped Air India ‘B’ by a convincing 9-1 margin in a Senior Division match of the MHAL (Mumbai Hockey Association Limited) League – 2015 and played at the MHAL Stadium, Churchgate, on Monday.
Vinay Walmiki scored a brace, while teammates Mayur Patil, Kartik Sharma, Ashish Chetty, Rajendra Pawar, Razik Shaikh, Ajit Shinde and Waseem Khan contributed a goal each to complete the scoreline for the winners. Air India reduced the margin of defeat through Kishore Kumar’s late goal.
Results – Senior Div: RCF 9 (Vinay Walmiki 2, Mayur Patil, Kartik Sharma, Ashish Chetty, Rajendra Pawar, Razik Shaikh, Ajit Shinde, Waseem Khan) beat Air India ‘B’ 1 (Kishore Kumar).
