Known for his memorable roles in many Bollywood and Indo-British films, veteran actor Saeed Jaffrey passed away .He was 86. The news was confirmed y his niece Shaheen on her social networking page. Sadeed Jaffrey was a very popular actor of Bollywood films during 70s and 80s and was active with his profession till 206.

He came into limelight with his fine performance in the 1977 Hindi film ‘Shataranj Ke Khiladi’, for which he won the filmfare award for best supporting actor. Some of his memorable roles were in films like ’Mandi’, ‘Ek Baar Phir’,’Mashaal’,’Sagar’ ’ Ajooba’, Indrajeet’, Henna’, ‘Aunty No. 1’. He also performed in famous TV show ‘Tandoori Nights’ during 1988-89. With his sad demise, the film industry has lost a talented actor. We at magzmumbai pray for his soul to rest in peace.
