Packers march into semi-finals


Bandra Packers dished out a 5-star performance to record a facile 5-0 win against Hugh Fernandes Academy in a women’s quarter-final play-off match of the 13th Bandra West Football Association (BWFA) League 2015 and being played on the Dr. Norman Lewis, Supari Talao Muncipal Grounds, Bandra (West).

Combining nicely as a unit, Packers completely dominated the match and scored at regular intervals through Karishma Vazirani, Laura Estebeiro, Suman Salian, Priya Tiwari and Stacey Prince to run away with the match and confirm their place in the last four round.

In the semi-finals, Packers will take on Bodyline SC who also enjoyed an easy outing as they romped to a comfortable 4-0 win against Kenkre FC in another quarter-final encounter. Strikers Natasha Masters, Levanah Samuels, Kimberly Fernandez and Sahitra Ghurye, all chipped in with a goal each to complete Bodyline’s win.
