Kudroli Memorial Foootball Tournament, organised by KSA (Karnatak Sporting Association) and played at the KSA ground, Cross Maidan, Churchgate. Strikers Rashid Shaikh, Ganesh Ganiga, Prashant Shetty and Ganesh Shetty, all struck a goal each to seal Jai Bharat’s win, while Kanara Bros reduced the margin of defeat with Akash Chander Rathod and Akash Rathod striking a goal apiece.
In another last 16 round match, Star of Canara SC got the better of Satya Vijaya SC by a close 5-4 margin via the penalty shootout after full time finished in a goalless draw.
