ESIC (Employees State Insurance Corporation) recorded a convincing 3-1 win against Rhino SC in a First Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League – 2014-15, played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Friday.
For ESIC striker Nikhil S netted a brace while Vinish S got one, while Rhino SC reduced the margin of defeat with Austin Fernandes scoring the lone goal.
Earlier in a Second Division encounter, Darren Soanes netted the lone goal as Air India Western Region overcame Silver Innings by a narrow 1-0 margin.
