75th CCI Western India Squash from Dec 17


The Cricket Club of India will be conducting the 75th CCI Western India Open 2018 squash championship at their squash courts, from December 17 to 23, 2018. It will be a proud moment for the Cricket Club of India as this will mark the Platinum Jubilee of hosting the squash event continuously for 75 years.

 

Concurrently CCI will also be conducting the CCI 10th Indian Junior Open 2018. Both the tournaments will be organised under aegis of SRFI and MSRA.

 

Mahesh Mangaonkar and Harinder Pal Singh Sandhu are the number one and two seeds respectively in the Men’s competition which has received over 75 entries from across India. Ranjit Singh and Vikram Malhotra are the joint third and fourth seeds. Vikram Malhotra, Abhishek Agarwal, Abhishek Pradhan, Jamal Sakib and Yash Fadte are seeded in the 5-8th bracket.

 

Besides the men’s event competition would also be conducted for professional, Men Open 35+, Men Open 45+ and Men Open 55+ in the senior event.

 

The Indian Junior Open has attracted 395 entries and will comprise of 10 events for boys and girls in different age groups from Under-11 to Under-19.
