Mehul shah, Vice President of Bharat Diamond Bourse in association with Giants International , Chowpatty President Ms. Priety mehul Shah and Malabar Hill Club President Ashok Shetty, planted 3000 plants of different species yesterday at Malabar Hill and surrounding areas. and, the time was just right for the same, with monsoon spreading across the island city. 
The oraganisers of this event gave special attention to the Siri Road area, where forest land had been encroached upon and had turned into a dump yard. Through this mission fruit trees as well as bamboo tree species were also planted. According to the organizers, the fruit trees would attract migrating birds of different species to this area.
Many enthusiastic members of both the clubs were present on this occasion, along with dignitaries like Forest and Fiance Minister Mr. Sudhir Munguntiwar, MLA Mangal Prabhat Lodha and Municipal Commissioner of Mumbai Mr. Ajoy Mehta.
