Last year Veterans’ Table tennis Tournaments had received very good response in Maharashtra, with state ranking tournaments held at places like Dervan( Chiplun), Nashik, Pune & Pachgani (Satara) besides Mumbai. It gave an impression that many 39+ players looked at Table Tennis game as good fitness activity. Even the National Veterans TT was held at Balewadi, Pune two months ago,receiving overwhelming response, with many former state and national level players becoming part of this competition.
Now, the big news for Veteran players is that the 2017 season will begin with PYC Gymkhana, Pune State ranking Veterans tournament. Further details regarding the last date of entries, fixtures etc. will be announced later, but, the dates of the tournament have been finalized as 22nd and 23rd April 2017.
