Fourteen leading teams have confirmed their participation in the annual Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar T20 Cup Inter-Office Cricket Tournament 2024, organised by the Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers under the auspices of the MCA (Mumbai Cricket Association) and to be played at the picturesque RCF Colony ground, Chembur from April 1, 2024.
This tournament is being organized for ‘B Division’ teams and will be played on a direct knockout basis. All the matches will be played according to the model rules of MCA relating to the conduct of the Cricket Tournaments.
Two matches will be played on all match days. The first game will commence at 9.00am followed by the second from 2.00pm. The finals are slated to be played on Friday, April 12.
The champions will be presented with the prestigious Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Cup and a cash award of Rs one lakh while the losing finalists will receive the runners-up trophy and a cash prize of Rs 75,000. In addition there would be awards for the ‘Man of the Series’, Best Batsman, Best Bowler and Best Fielder. ‘Man of the Match’ prizes will be awarded at every match.
The participating teams are: DTDC SC, Mumbai Port Trust, Nanavathi Hospital, Reserve Bank of India, CIPLA SC, Greater Mumbai Police, AG (L&R) Club, Viva Supermarket, Repro India Club, Reliance Group, Space SC, Mafatlal SC, CGST, and hosts RCF Sports Club.
