Over 1000 athletes from 55 schools, colleges and clubs will be vying for top honours in the two-day Mumbai City District Athletic Meet which gets underway at the University Stadium tomorrow (Saturday).
Apart from the men and women, there will be events for boys and girls in the various age groups. Performance in this meet will be one of the criteria for selection in the Mumbai City team for the State Athletics Championships.
