IRS Hemant Tantia and his Family Salute the Real Heroes

Just a week after prime minister Narendra Modi’s surprise visit to Pakistan, an Indian Air Force base at Pathankot, Punjab, about 50 kilometres from the heavily militarised border between the two countries, was  attacked and seen as an attempt to derail recent peace moves by Pakistan and India. Five militants and seven Indian soldiers have so far been killed, during three days of fighting. Their families are in a state of shock, but feel proud about their sacrifice. The Indian army is being thanked for their service and dedication towards the country by everyone. Recently IRS, Deputy Commissioner of Customs Hemant Tantia who was in a shock,  as New Year clicked with a sad news for the whole nation.

Hemant Tantia and his family “saluted” the efforts being made by the real life “heroes” who saved  the lives of others. Hemant Tantia has made a  video,  featuring his family saluting the brave hearts, who died, while fighting for the nation.

While speaking on this happening, Hemant Tantia said, ” Let us not forget the heroes in the Army and the Air Force, who work selflessly for us. Our soldiers are heroes in the truest sense of the word. They selflessly guard our borders, risking their lives. I wanted to dedicate a video “Bharat Maa Ke Santan Hain Hum” a non-commercial patriotic song. It was a day of lots of honour and pride for me, because I became a voice for them amongst their own. And I got a chance to reach out to the real heroes of our land, who are out there slogging day and night,  on a platform called democracy in our country. I salute the Indian Air force and army.”
